Engineering

The Engineering Department has a diverse range of responsibilities, which include managing all construction-related activities and facilities planning. Engineering is responsible for overseeing capital projects, developing new water sources, and subdivision work. Additionally, it manages technical records, maintains construction plans and “as-built” records, and processes underground service alert requests. Engineering is also involved in design, plan-check, inspection, and construction management, and is responsible for maintaining the GIS systems.
