On December 19, 2023, the State Water Resources Control Board adopted the Cross-Connection Control Policy Handbook which became effective on July 1, 2024. This new legislation requires all public water agencies, including Yorba Linda Water District (YLWD), to review customer properties for possible cross-connection hazards. To meet state requirements, YLWD has developed a Cross-Connection Control Management Plan to help keep our water safe.
