This project is part of the District’s continuing Rehabilitation & Replacement (R&R) Program to replace aging infrastructure.

Project priorities include:
  • Abandonment of approx. 1,360 linear feet of aged cast iron pipe from 1927-1946.
  • Construction of approx. 1,180 linear feet of new 8-inch waterline along Grandview Ave. and Short St.
  • Installation of 2 new fire hydrants on Grandview Ave.
  • Reconnecting existing meters to the new waterline on Grandview Ave. and Short St.
  • Relocating existing meters located on private property (ex. Backyard) to curb adjacent and connecting these relocated water meters to the waterline fronting the property.

This project is located in the City of Yorba Linda on Short St. between Grandview Ave. and Kellogg Dr., on Ridge Way from Short St. to end of Ridge Way south of Short St, on Grandview Ave. from Short St. to end of Grandview Ave. south of Short St.

The estimated project completion is late Summer 2021.
