Installation of New Aerial Marker Balls on Power Lines

The Yorba Linda Water District (YLWD) is providing this notification to inform you about upcoming helicopter activity taking place on February 22 & 23, 2024, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

 

Southern California Edison (SCE) will be installing aerial marker balls on transmission lines near YLWD’s Marc Marcantonio Heli-Hydrant in the Hidden Hills area. These markers were requested by CAL FIRE to keep aircraft safe near power lines during potential firefighting operations that may occur in the area. During this time, you can expect to have helicopter activity taking place between YLWD’s Wells Fargo Heli-Hydrant Landing Pad near Camino de Bryant and the power lines located near YLWD’s Marc Marcantonio Heli-Hydrant.
