FOR MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 8:30 AM, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Water District will conduct a public hearing to consider adoption of an Ordinance entitled: Setting Compensation for Members of the Board Pursuant to Section 20200 et seq. of the California Water Code. This Ordinance would increase the Directors’ compensation in the amount of five percent (5%) from $171.99 to $180.59 for each day’s service rendered on the District’s behalf, not to exceed a total of ten (10) days each calendar month, and shall become effective beginning January 1, 2027. OF PROPOSED ORDINANCES ADOPTING WATER AND SEWER
DEVELOPMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICES FEES
Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 8:30 AM, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Water District will introduce an Ordinance entitled “Adopting Water Development and Customer Service Fees” and an Ordinance entitled “Adopting Sewer Development and Customer Service Fees.” These Ordinances would enable the District to change the fees and penalties related to Water and Sewer Development and Customer Service as identified in the District’s Rules and Regulations for Water Service and the Rules and Regulations for Sewer Service. A certified copy of the complete text of the proposed Ordinances is posted and me be read at the District's offices located at 1717 E Miraloma Ave, Placentia CA 92870, and on the District's website below. A second reading and Board consideration of adoption of these proposed Ordinances is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 8:30 AM. FOR DRAFT UPDATE OF 2025 URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN AND WATER SHORTAGE CONTINGENCY PLAN
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Water District (District) will conduct a public hearing to provide an opportunity for public input on the draft update of the District’s 2025 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) and Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP). UWMPs and WSCPs are prepared by California's urban water suppliers, including the District, to support their long-term resource planning and ensure adequate water supplies are available to meet existing and future water demands. Every urban water supplier that either provides over 3,000 acre-feet of water annually or serves 3,000 or more connections, which includes the District, is required to prepare an UWMP and WSCP every five years. The public hearing to consider adopting the UWMP and WSCP will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 8:30 AM in the Board Room of the Yorba Linda Water District located at 1717 E Miraloma Ave, Placentia CA 92870, at which time and place all interested persons may appear and be heard. A copy of the draft UWMP and WSCP is currently available for public review at the District’s offices and on the District’s website below.
