Director Trudi DesRoches Hosts Infrastructure Tour for Residents and Community Partners
On Tuesday, February 11, the Yorba Linda Water District (YLWD/District) hosted an infrastructure tour for local residents and a few key staff from the Richard Nixon Presidential Library. YLWD Director Trudi DesRoches welcomed guests and provided a brief overview of the District’s daily operations and water supply.

YLWD Hosts a Tour for South Korea Delegation
YLWD welcomed members of the delegation from Yeoju, South Korea on Wednesday, February 5th. During the visit, the delegation stopped by YLWD’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Room and took a guided tour of our PFAS Water Treatment Plant, where YLWD’s talented Chief Water Systems Operator pointed out the process of how PFAS is removed out of our groundwater.

Yorba Linda Water District Secures Competitive Cybersecurity Grant
YLWD is proud to announce that it has been selected to receive $248,994 from the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES). YLWD submitted its proposal to the State & Local Cybersecurity Grants (SLCGP) for Local & Tribal Governments Program (SL Program), as part of its commitment to safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring the resilience of our District’s operations technology against potential cyber disruptions and attacks.

Yorba Linda Water District Secures New Authority of $6.5 Million for Water Infrastructure Projects
YLWD is pleased to announce that it has received a significant boost for its water infrastructure initiatives with the authorization of $6.5 million through the Water Resources Development Act of 2024. This critical bill, S.4367, also known as the Thomas R. Carper Water Resources Development Act of 2024 was officially signed into law by President Joe Biden on January 4, 2025.
