FOR PROPOSED ORDINANCE SETTING COMPENSATION
FOR MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 8:30 AM, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Water District will conduct a public hearing to consider adoption of an Ordinance entitled: Setting Compensation for Members of the Board Pursuant to Section 20200 et seq. of the California Water Code. This Ordinance would increase the Directors’ compensation in the amount of five percent (5%) from $171.99 to $180.59 for each day’s service rendered on the District’s behalf, not to exceed a total of ten (10) days each calendar month, and shall become effective beginning January 1, 2027. A certified copy of the complete text of the proposed Ordinance is posted and may be read at the District’s offices located at 1717 E Miraloma Ave, Placentia CA 92870, or on the District’s website.
