YLWD, in partnership with the City of Yorba Linda, was honored to host members of the consul delegate from Taiwan and Paraguay on Monday, June 9^th. YLWD Board Member, Wayne Miller and General Manager Mark Toy welcomed our guests and shared a presentation about the journey of water, where it comes from, and how we treat it at our flagship J. Wayne Miller, Ph.D. Water Treatment Plant. Also in attendance was Mayor Janice Lim from the City of Yorba Linda.

During the visit, our guests gained insight into where our water comes from, how we use ion exchange technology to treat PFAS from our local groundwater, and learned about critical infrastructure such as our Heli-Hydrants to help protect our community in the event of a wildfire.
