Senate Bill 827: Training Requirements
In summary, Senate Bill 827 requires Yorba Linda Water District Board Members and department heads to complete state-mandated fiscal and financial training in addition to ethics training. These trainings must be renewed every two years to maintain compliance with state requirements.

California Government Code requires specified local agency officials to receive two hours of ethics training every two years. SB 827 expanded this requirement to include department heads and similar administrative officers, in addition to requiring two hours of fiscal and financial training every two years.
