On Monday, March 17th, YLWD was thrilled to host a second infrastructure tour for several homeowners from the East Lake Village community. YLWD Board President Tom Lindsey, Vice President Gene Hernandez, and General Manager Mark Toy welcomed our guests and shared valuable insights into the District’s daily operations and extensive background on the services we provide to our community.

Attendees enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look at various YLWD facilities within our service area, including our flagship J. Wayne Miller, Ph.D. Water Treatment Plant, reservoirs, well sites, booster pump stations, and the Wells Fargo Heli-Hydrant. Furthermore, attendees had the chance to ask questions to our expert staff and learn about YLWD’s proactive efforts in Wildfire Emergency Preparedness.

We are grateful for the opportunity to demonstrate the value we provide to our customers and appreciate their time to join us.
