On Tuesday, June 17th, Director Trudi DesRoches, alongside General Manager Mark Toy, hosted an infrastructure tour where participants were able to get a behind-the-scenes look at some of YLWD’s most essential water facilities.

Participants visited the J. Wayne Miller, Ph.D. Water Treatment Plant, Highland Reservoir & Booster Pump Station, Fairmont Reservoir & Booster Pump Station, Camino de Bryant Reservoir, and our Wells Fargo Heli-Hydrant and Landing Zone. Tour guests gained insight on how our staff maintains and operates our water facilities to provide customers with safe and reliable drinking water.

“I enjoyed the ability of the guides to give detailed information about the facilities and answer any questions the group had,” said one tour attendee.
