Amid California’s ongoing drought, state lawmakers moved forward with a bill that will mandate indoor residential water conservation, despite pushback from water districts.
Governor Newsom issued an Executive Order to increase water conservation measures. He directed the State Water Board to consider the adoption of emergency regulations banning irrigation of “non-functional” turf and the adoption of emergency regulations requiring urban water suppliers be at Level 2 of their Water Shortage Contingency Plans.
$500,000 was secured for a helicopter hydrant we will place in the Wildland Urban Interface Zone bordering Yorba Linda.
