In response to Governor Newsom’s Executive Order, the State Water Board has adopted an emergency regulation for urban water conservation. The regulation requires YLWD to enter Level 2 of the WSCP and prohibits commercial customers from watering nonfunctioning grass.

OCWD has successfully defended its management of the Orange County Groundwater Basin with favorable court rulings on 15 of 16 claims asserted by IRWD in a three-phase, multi-year lawsuit brought against OCWD.
