Students from AVID College Prep classes toured Yorba Linda Water District’s (YLWD) PFAS Water Treatment Center and learned about career opportunities in the water industry.
The Yorba Linda Water District (YLWD) is providing this notification to inform you about upcoming helicopter activity taking place on February 22 & 23, 2024, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Southern California Edison (SCE) will be installing aerial marker balls on transmission lines near YLWD’s Marc Marcantonio Heli-Hydrant in the Hidden Hills area.
YLWD invites highly qualified consultants with public sector experience to submit a proposal for a Classification and Compensation Study.
On January 11, 2024, YLWD administered the oath of office to the former City of Yorba Linda Mayor, Mr. Gene Hernandez. Director Hernandez will be serving in an interim capacity until the general election in November 2024.
On December 11, 2023, the Yorba Linda Water District (YLWD/District) Board of Directors hosted a special dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for Well 22, a significant water supply source for the 80,000 customers the District serves.
YLWD invites qualified law firms and individuals with a minimum of both ten (10) years of California water law and local government law experience to submit a proposal for General Legal Counsel Services.
On November 1, the Young Civic Leaders Academy, led by City of Yorba Linda Mayor Pro-Tem Tara Campbell, visited YLWD.
On November 2, 2023, YLWD had the honor of attending the dedication ceremony for the Grace F. Napolitano Pure Water Southern California Innovation Center.
YLWD partnered with Orange County Water District and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for an Inspection Tour of Prado Dam.
